We are running around and staking things to the ground…the ‘Fest goes on RAIN or shine!

Come join us! A little weather doesn’t bother us ‘Fleetians. We will have plenty of food and music, our famous wellfleet oysters!, fine arts and crafts and great Wellfleet OysterFest gear for sale.

The food demos will still be going on in Masonic Hall. Tickets for demos will be on sale until late Friday night. After that, it is first come, first serve–a great deal for $10. Check out the spat shop or the schedule of events for more information on the delectable food demos -lots of local flavor!

Can’t wait to see y’all at the ‘Fest!

Hard to believe but the ‘Fest is less than a week away…

Our SPAT shop is up and running with tickets available for the ‘Taste the Terroir’ and Food Demos that are being held at the Masonic Hall here in downtown Wellfleet. SORRY to say that Shucky’s Day is already full up this year. Next year, tides permitting, we’d like to have one each day.

We are very excited for this year’s events and can’t wait to see you at the ‘Fest!

Coming to Life - Festival 2009

We’re starting to gear up seriously for the 2009 Wellfleet Oyster Festival, refining our plans and motivating our staff. Yes, it’s only August and the Fest is two months away, but to be honest, we’ve been working hard for quite some time now on making the 2009 Event the best yet.

Stay tuned, and check back often for the latest news, for ticket availability, for the Schedule of Events, and for all things Wellfleet and oysters.

Tickets Now Available Online

Tickets for Wellfleet Oyster Festival events are now available online here. Tickets for four events during the Festival may be purchased online, including cooking demonstrations and all things oysters, including shucking. Our convenient and secure shopping cart is processing your ticket orders, and your confirmed receipt after successful credit card charge is your admissions ticket.

We’re looking forward to seeing you at the Festival on the 18th and 19th of October!

New site up!

We’re very excited to announce the launch of our new and improved web site. Our old one had grown like topsy, and some of the pages on it had become orphaned in a navigation that had become a little tentacly. We’ve added new materials to the site, as well as given it a new look but with the good old “Shucky” overseeing everything. Take a look around while you’re here.

We’ve been busy putting the final touches on the Schedule of Events for this year’s Festival, and we’re almost done. As soon as those last few details are worked out, we’ll add the Schedule to our new site. So, check back soon for your favorite event listings and set aside the weekend for fun and festivities.
